Dream the Impossible Dream.

Some of you would have noticed the song titled “The Impossible Dream” playing in the background of the sites portal page if you are reading this post in a timely manner.

A part of what makes us special and unique as human beings, is our ability to wonder at the things around us, and to dream about the way things can be for us, and for the world around us.

To have dreams is not a bad thing when we back up those dreams with positive and affirming actions.

Without doing something constructive to bring about the realization of our dreams, we are merely wasting our time, energy and effort. But at the same time we want to make sure that our dreams are realistic dreams, but the dreams should be difficult enough so as to present a challenge to us. By facing and overcoming the challenges, we become stronger and more resilient and positive.

That same it true of goals that we set. What are your dreams? Are they realistic? Once you have your dream firmly planted in your mind, convert it into an actual goal. Write down your dream/goal on paper, then decide what you need to do to realize those goal and write is down in the order of which they must be done.

You are to write them down so that you can put your goals into the proper perspective. Your written goals should function as a map or guide for you to follow. Be diligent.

When you achieve one goal, you continue the process by adding another goal. The goals that I speak of should never be solely personal or financial goals, but also they should include spiritual and academic goals and well as some others. Goals for self interest are okay as long as they enable us to help others along the way. Goals should serve as rungs on a ladder to greatness. What is at the top of that ladder will be determined by your thoughts and actions at the lower rungs of that ladder, so set your goals accordingly.

Go ahead and dare to dream the impossible dream, if you don’t, you may not have a springboard to get you started.
